What is the most common surgery Dr. Babovic performs?
One of Dr. Babovic’s specialties is breast surgery. He performs breast reduction and augmentation as well as reconstruction following removal due to cancer. Other procedures done frequently by Dr. Babovic are tummy tucks, liposuction of various regions of the body, face-lifts and eyelid surgeries.



Will there be restrictions following my surgery?
Recuperation time following the surgery is different for each individual and depends on the procedure. One general rule for all surgeries is no lifting of 30 pounds or more for six weeks. A registered nurse will discuss with you postoperative care prior to the surgery.



Who will I see at my appointment?
During your consultation you will first meet and visit with his nurse and then with Dr. Babovic who will answer your questions as well as explain options for the concerns you may be having. Lastly you will meet with the business office manager who will assist you with either the insurance piece of the visit or give costs for the cosmetic options discussed between you and Dr. Babovic.



What is the consultation fee?

Is there anything I can do about rosacea?
Yes, with Intense Pulse Light treatments the inflammation of rosacea can be significantly reduced and managed.



What is the difference between a tummy tuck and liposuction of the tummy?
The panniculectomy or tummy tuck removes the excess skin and fat from the abdomen as well as tightening the muscles of the abdominal wall. Liposuction of the abdominal region removes deposits of excess fat only. Liposuction is a less invasive procedure than the panniculectomy.



How can I get rid of the hair on my face?
With the Intense Pulsed Light we can significantly reduce the growth of dark unwanted hair. The technology can also be used on other parts of the body.



I am concerned about my privacy.
