Juvéderm® injectable gel is a smooth gel filler your doctor eases under your skin to instantly smooth out those wrinkles or folds that look like parentheses along the side of your nose and mouth. Results aren’t just instant, they’re so smooth and natural, everyone will notice but no one will know.
Cosmoplast® Collagen replacement therapy treatments are dermal fillers approved for the correction of facial wrinkles, acne scars, lip restoration and other soft tissue contour deficiencies. Treatment results are immediate and effects may last three to four months. No pre-treatment skin test is required.
Radiesse® is a safe, next generation cosmetic dermal filler that’s setting a new standard for the correction of facial lines and wrinkles such as nasolabial folds. Clinical studies prove that Radiesse lasts longer than the fomer leading filler to deliver a natural look that lasts.
Considerations:
Radiesse® Treatments are typically scheduled once a year. Precautions before Radiesse® treatments may include:
• Avoid aspirin, non-steroidal anti-inflammatory medicines, St. John’s Wort, or high doses of Vitamin E prior to treatment to reduce bruising or bleeding at the injection site.
• If you have previously suffered from facial cold sores, talk to your doctor. You may be prescribed a medication to minimize recurrence.
AlloDerm™ is a dermal graft/implant material. With AlloDerm™, the epidermis, or top layer of cells, and the cells in the dermis are removed from donor tissue. What remains is a collagen framework that provides strength to the skin. Once the AlloDerm™ graft or implant material is in place, it gradually becomes a natural part of your body.
Initially, AlloDerm™ was used as a skin replacement for burn patients. Soon, plastic, reconstructive, dermatologic, oral and cosmetic surgeons worldwide saw the benefits of this natural tissue replacement.
Alloderm™ is also beneficial for:
• It is the only graft/implant capable of regenerating normal tissue.
• It cannot trigger any inflammatory response or allergic reaction.
• It is a soft, pliable implant with a natural feel.
• There is no need to collect tissue from another site on your body.
Fat Transfer: This method is a successful option for many individuals who wish to smooth out facial wrinkles caused by age or excessive frowning, squinting or smiling. It involves filling areas where collagen and elastin fibers have broken down, with fat taken from elsewhere in your body. It is non-surgical and benefits can last as long as three years. And because the material used is already part of your body, there is no risk of allergic response or rejection.
Fat transfer is also beneficial for:
• altering some facial deformities
• correcting atrophic aging of the hands
• post surgical and post traumatic defects
About the Procedure
Fat is liposuctioned from your body, usually from the thigh or abdomen, processed to remove excess liquids and then injected at the location of the wrinkle. An anesthetic is used at both the removal and injection sites. There may be some swelling for up to 36 hours and discomfort can be treated with medication. Often, a second stage, two months later, is necessary to obtain effective, long lasting results.
Considerations:
Fat transfer is not permanent and it cannot be used on all parts of the body.
